Kintsugi Workshop

Beauty in the Broken

Friday, May 2 in Los Altos

Learn the ancient Japanese art of kintsugi—repairing broken pottery with gold to highlight, not hide, the cracks.

In this hands-on workshop with Makoto Fujimura-trained artist, you’ll create your own restored piece while exploring the rich history of kintsugi through a Christian lens of healing and renewal.

Be inspired by the “Theology of Making” pioneered by Makoto Fujimura and reflect on how beauty can emerge from brokenness.

Come ready to co-create with God and community!
