Family Innovation Day

January 2026, Los Altos

Co-Create, Imagine, and Build
with Your Kids and with God

Join us for our very first Family Innovation Day a hands-on experience for parents and kids to build, learn, and create together—guided by the principles of innovation & design thinking and inspired by a Kingdom mindset. Rather than send your kids off to that awesome STEM camp on their own, roll up your sleeves together and grow closer together as you dig in.

Learn from Stanford d.school instructor and discover the innovation toolbox of design thinking:

  • How to deeply understand the people you're designing for

  • How to generate wild, God-sized ideas

  • How to prototype creatively

  • How to test ideas and gather real feedback early

But this isn't just about building cool things—it's about tapping into the divine creativity God has placed in every person, big and small. Together, we'll explore what it means to co-create with God for good in the world.

What to Expect:

  • A hands-on, full-cycle design challenge from empathy, to ideation, to prototyping

  • Building with foam core, cardboard, and all sorts of crafty materials

  • Learning to listen—both to people’s needs and to God’s whispers

  • Joyful mess, shared imagination, and powerful teamwork

Go Home With:

Each family will receive a MakeDo Kit—a set of tools to transform any stack of cardboard into your next great invention.

Think of it as your ongoing invitation to imagine, explore, and build together.

Who’s It For?
